Two men have been charged following a suitcase robbery where a believed to be capsaicin spray resulted in harm at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two counts of robbery and two counts of administering a noxious substance, as confirmed by court officials.

This legal action stems from an investigation into an assault at the parking structure at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two female travelers had their luggage stolen after getting out of a car park lift, according to law enforcement.

A three-year-old girl was among those injured in the event. A total of five individuals required hospital care and were eventually allowed to go home.

The incident – which authorities stated was not part of a series and deemed non-terroristic – caused disruptions to rail services and the temporary blocking of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a limited duration.
