The performer known as D4vd became listed as a person of interest in the death of Celeste Rivas, a young girl who went missing and was later found deceased inside the artist's Tesla automobile earlier this year, based on police.

Location of the Body

The decayed body of Rivas, fifteen, was discovered in this past autumn inside the front trunk of a black Tesla registered to D4vd, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke. This vehicle had been issued a violation in a Hollywood Hills and subsequently seized at a vehicle storage facility in the metropolitan area.

Chronology of Events

Police believe that Rivas almost certainly succumbed in the springtime, noting that D4vd had likely been involved in dismantling and getting rid of the remains. The artist has not been cooperative in the investigation, according to a police insider.

The adolescent Rivas was first reported missing from Lake Elsinore in spring 2024. The remains was subsequently discovered in the artist's Tesla after employees at the impound facility alerted a foul smell coming from the car.

This cause of death has still not been identified, but the medical examiner's office commented that Rivas “appears to have been deceased inside the automobile for an extended period before being discovered.” Police are considering her demise as a suspicious death.

This Texas-based singer had been issued a violation in the Los Angeles neighborhood just less than two weeks before Rivas was found in the vehicle, after violating the three-day parking limit. Locals in the neighborhood mentioned that the Tesla had been left in the neighborhood for several weeks.

Celeste's family member revealed that the relatives was informed that Rivas knew the artist and that she was on her way to watch a film with him just before she went missing.

D4vd, spoken as “David,” is a NY-native artist recognized for the chart-toppers “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me.” He and his representative were staying at a LA residence in the Hollywood area in this past autumn, as stated by the residence's proprietor, until law enforcement investigated the residence.

D4vd has partnered with record labels. He was traveling for performances at the period Rivas's body were located, but called off those shows subsequent to the finding of Rivas's body.
