The star midfielder Functioned in a high position out wide and did plenty of defensive duties. Displayed glimpses of brilliance but scuffed an attempt wide. Withdrawn in the closing stages for Rogers, his rival, following a yellow card. 7

The winger Had the team's top opening in the opening period, his shot smartly stopped by the Albanian keeper. As a teammate holding position, he had to offer an outlet out wide although his balls from the touchline varied in quality. Replaced late in the match. Six

The captain The difference-maker with his 77th and 78th strikes at international level. His first a trademark opportunist's goal and the second a superb finish with his head following a clever run away from the opposition.
