Amazing $30 Cartography Software Bundle Represents a Online Gaming GM's Dream

Following a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection has returned for a limited time available until Dec. 2. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by ProFantasy Software over the years, the entire collection carries a value of over $1,300. And there are multiple package options available here.

The Main Attraction

The standout feature is definitely permanent access to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade mapping application that can be used to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

A regional fantasy map created using Campaign Cartographer 3+.

Bundle Tiers

Entry Level

The most affordable option, starting at just one dollar, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value by adding in permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

Complete Collection

For a minimum of $30, the 39-item bundle contains these components:

  • Fractal Terrains 3+
  • Dungeon Creation Tool
  • City Designer 3
  • Cosmographer 3
  • Perspectives 3
  • Dioramas 3
  • Character Design Module

  • Permanent CC3+ Access
  • 3D City Symbols

All 17 volumes of Cartographer's Annual are included here, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, underground complexes, cities, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly an even better deal for cartography beginners considering you even get introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though the purchase is available on any platform, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Charitable Component

Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. Package customization options appear near the page top, but you can also select their donation amount on the right side of the page. Additionally available is an "Adjust Donation" drop-down just below that, enabling adjustment of how much of your donation allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
